Dear All,  The Zionist Council of Haifa have said there are 20 places available on a guided tour to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem on
Sunday 12th July. Tour costs 35 shekels and leaves from Hechal HaSport Romemema at 9am Sunday. Tour includes: bus with guide to
Independence Hall, Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion's house, Tel Aviv, and Lillienblum, Tel Aviv. After that, tour continues to a remembrance ceremony
for Herzl on Har Herzl, Jerusalem, a state ceremony with Shimon Peres at 1700. After that, return to Haifa. Young people, older people and
children (of a suitable age to appreciate the tour and to behave appropriately) are all welcome.Places on a first come first served basis.
Tour is definitely in Hebrew! Priority given to returning residents, olim (with enough Hebrew to enjoy the tiyyul) and to volunteers/pe'ilim in
field of Zionism/aliyah etc.   Julie


Haifa has a thriving community of English-speaking young adults (ages 20 and 30).  A planning committee organizes social
events twice a month to help connect young adults with each other for both social and professional networking opportunities
as well as absorption assistance.  
This month's pub night will take place on Sunday July 26  at 9:00 PM at the Maidler's Pub located on 126 Moriah Street.
